Are they're going to be Custom Sleeves for these Cards?

For now, no. From the start, I made a hard choice to go with an unconventional size. Think of the game as a book and the pages have all been torn out and placed in a pile. The copy is small. The content on the cards are dense. The size feels great for this game, and the art and design have been planned accordingly.

That being said I will not rule out customs sleeves completely. But at this point, I would not count on that when making your pledge.

Considering this, please understand that consideration will not be made for additional box space for sleeved cards.

At this time no additional Tier Rewards are planned. If any are added in the later stages of the campaign they will be additional cards.

Why are there 115 8mm Marker Cubes?

This game was originally conceived with poker chips to represent Hit Point and Armor Points. Part of the theme of this game is “gambling with your life” That was soon abandoned for something more partial and much smaller. It has a crap table type feel with sliding the chips, in our case cubes on and off the field.

Having colors to represent denominations brings a level of confusion because you are already working with 3 colors. To quickly see the numbers you are working with…which is important. It’s simpler just having the straight amount. I hope that makes sense.

That being said, some who play the game prefer dice drafting, and that’s great. Do whatever works for you!

The cubes add very little to the overall manufacturing costs, take up little space and add minimal weight to each unit. Don’t let the number 115 make it feel like a lot. They fit in a ziplock bag 2/3rds the size of a story card.

What weight playing card is the game going to have?

The current plan is to have 300gms. Though I would love to go to a 320 or 350, the already large card size makes the game heavy and I have decided at this time to keep it at 300 so that the box and delivery cost don’t become unrealistic for this price point.

In the future I would love to do a deluxe version, but at this point it isn’t in the cards….see what I did there?

Can I buy an additional copy of the game?

The current plan is to make additional copies available in Backerkit as upgrades after the campaign ends. Of course I will let you know if that changes.

The estimated shipping cost of multiple copies will be available at that time as well.

Are Expansions Currently Planned?

Not at this time. My only focus is the six chapters that will be in this edition of the game.

I am not shutting the door additional content, but I can’t make any decisions regarding that until after this game is produced and fulfilled.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
