Quick Update

Hey guys,

I just wanted to touch base and say that Surveys are on track to go out on Dec 2nd. In the meantime, there are still a lot of declined payments that need to be addressed. If you haven't done that please do!

On the development side of things illustrations for Chapter 3 are complete and all attention (for Ben and I) is on Chapter 4 now. Our Editor- Erica is in the middle of an editing pass on Chapter 3.

I will reach out again next Friday. Have a good weekend!

The Finish Line!

I won’t ever forget these last 30 days, INSANE!

This game has been bouncing around in my head for a long time. A year or so ago I made a demo and blindly messaged a bunch of folks on Instagram…figuring there’s got to be a few people out there that want to play this as much as I do. The play-testing went great so I thought what the hell. Let’s give this a shot! You can imagine my surprise when I pressed that launch button on Oct 17th.

I just want to thank some of the incredible people that helped me out along the way!

First off, a huge thanks to Benjamin Wiesemann for all of his incredible artwork!

Erica Perez - Editor for Spire’s End

Christian Thomas - Editor for Spire’s End

Jesse Anderson & Jan Bigas - Quackalope

James Lang - Vorpal Board

Chad McCallum - Of Dice and Men

Steve Ireland - new.adventures.in.gaming (instagram)

Andy Matthews - Meeple Mountain

Adam Trezise - Die Rollin

Collin Spanberger

David Lockwood - Game on the Tabletop

And the family, can’t forget the family! I've had a great support system throughout all this, they are exhausted as well!

And of course thanks again to all of you guys for coming along on this crazy little adventure. I hope everyone has a blast!

What’s Next?

You should all be getting your Backerkit surveys in about 2 weeks. That will collect and confirm all your information. I will post a quick update when that’s ready to go. Going forward I am tentatively planning on monthly updates regarding the game's development. I can't wait to report back!

Time to get to work!

Note: That top image is the Magic Mirror Stretch Goal Art! Ben finished that up just in time! Love it!

We will be playing live on Vorpal Board tomorrow night!

Flying Fish!
9 months ago – Sat, Nov 16, 2019 at 12:38:00 AM

I wanted to show off a new addition to the rogue's gallery. This is an alternative mini-boss you could run into during your adventures. This portion of the game was going to have one enemy- but I decided to split it into two.

I've had this character in my head for a while now. Hopefully, it will make sense why she is there when you get hit with a fish!

Heading toward the finish line. This is bananas! As always thanks so much for coming along!

Working away!
9 months ago – Sun, Nov 10, 2019 at 01:35:37 AM

At the risk of sounding like a broken record...what a crazy few weeks it's been! I am so excited about the stuff we are working on! Ben and I have been wrapping up the loose ends of Chapters 1-3. I thought it would be fun to show off the last illustration to come in for Chapter 2. (Please note, this is still a work in progress)

If you are a no spoilers person you can skip the next few sentences and the copy on the card and just take a look at the fancy drawings below...

*You would get to this card if you chose to go after the "cylinder" on the previous one. I have tried to make random roll events in the game connected to the actual choices you make.

Thanks again everyone for making this possible, hope you like it! Oh, and that Chum Slinger thing...we'll get to that!

I'll keep you posted!
